Thankfully, our ongoing cleaning services will take that stress off your shoulders and let you focus on enjoying your birds.

That being said, what should you expect from your first aviary cleaning? How can you prepare for us to visit and service the aviary?

Read on and you’ll find all the information you need.

Devise a Routine Cleaning Schedule

We work with each client to make a schedule for cleaning services. As such, we will regularly visit your facility at a frequency and time that works best for you.

Since we have multiple service techs in each state we service, we are consistently on time and will keep in touch with you to provide any information you should know.

Plus, our extensive number of service techs gives you a lot of scheduling flexibility. For example, you can specify which day of the week you’d like us to visit along with the time of day that works best.

If you have any questions about scheduling cleaning visits or adjusting your current cleaning schedule, please contact our customer support team.

Preparing for the First Service Visit

Your main responsibility for our service visits is to clear the area around your aviary. Anything that could block us from entering the enclosure, or items that could be easily broken, should be removed from the area. Simply remove furniture, items hanging on the wall, or other fragile decorations.

People are also welcome in the room during aviary cleanings. In nursing homes, for example, some residents enjoy watching the cleaning take place. They will often ask our service techs about the aviary cleaning process and their wonderful finch friends.

How Long It Takes to Clean an Aviary

It will take your service tech one to two hours to clean your entire aviary. This duration may vary depending on how elaborate of a setup you have.

But keep in mind, one to two hours is consistent with future cleaning visits, so remember this time frame so you can schedule accordingly.

Deep Cleaning Your Serenity Aviary

Your service tech will perform a very straightforward aviary cleaning process.

Your Serenity service technician will:

  • Remove the bedding
  • Deep clean the floor
  • Wipe the windows
  • Clean and refill the bird feeder
  • Sanitize nests, perches, and any other decor
  • Cover the aviary floor with fresh bedding

Plus, if any products are damaged for whatever reason, we will replace them at no extra charge to you.

We also service existing aviaries, even if they weren’t built by Serenity! Many of the aviaries we service today weren’t built by us. Don’t hesitate to reach out and see if we can service your existing aviary!

Bird Health Checks

We also provide brief health checks on the birds and trim their nails and beaks if necessary. Not only do we want you to have an excellent view of the aviary, but we want to make sure your birds are as healthy as possible.

We will also replace certain birds if any are aggressive, bullying, or sick. We understand which birds live happily together and which ones don’t, but there are outliers. Please let us know if you’re noticing frequent issues with any birds.

And That’s It!

Your service technician will pack up their equipment and meet with you to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Then, they’ll be off to their next aviary cleaning visit.

With our expert service reps, this aviary cleaning service is simple and carefree for your staff. Plus, you can expect happy birds and an aviary that looks brand new after each visit!
